Typical Installation of Log Burner
This
picture shows the installation of 46KW logburner with1600ltr buffer tank,
which has a heat out coil for domestic hot water. As a soild fuel burner the log
burner needs to be open vented. To intergrate an open vented system with
radiators or underfloor heating a large heat exchanger is fitted inside the
top of the buffer tank. Energy can be taken from the buffer tank via this heat
exchanger.
The picture to the left shows the electrical control system designed and manufactured in house.
This system controls the energy from the logburner and alternative energy sources ie.
oil boiler, heat pump etc.
Pictured above is twin walled insulated stainless steel chimney
200mm in diameter. Larger boilers require larger diameter
Chimneys.
