The Pat Lee range of “Super Cylinders” and hot water cylinders are designed for use in both gravity-fed and pressurised hot water systems when installed with the appropriate safety devices. Our standard range is 160L – 600L fabricated in pharmaceutical grade 316L stainless steel and come with the full range of coil configurations. The cylinders are purged, pickled and passivated to ASTM 308 for extended life.

The coils used in our cylinders for internal heat exchange are smooth bore 316L stainless steel pipe and they are designed to suit different heat sources, we supply dedicated solar coils, solid fuel coils, geothermal heat pump coils and solid fuel coils.

Stainless steel is a strong material that resists acidic water conditions and is able to tolerate pressure. All tanks are pressure-tested to 7bar as part of the quality control test procedure and if installed as part of a pressurised system should be fitted with minimum 10% expansion by volume and pressurised to 3 bar or less.
Any pressurised system should be inspected annually and signed off by a competent tradesperson to comply with the guarantee and ensure that all valves and vessels are functioning perfectly.
